Nominations close for the Luxury Lifestyle Awards Middle East and Africa 2016

Luxury Lifestyle Awards, an international award granted to the best companies and brands in the luxury segment, has officially closed its nominations after welcoming more than 357 entries from prominent luxury brands across the Middle East and Africa.

The annual Luxury Awards event recognises luxury brands for their initiatives, innovation and achievements across a range of industries. The winners will be announced at the spectacular Great Gatsby-themed Gala Ceremony that will be held at Conrad Dubai hotel on Thursday, May 26th.

The nominees have been competing across 21 categories including Luxury Jewellery, Travel Company, Hotel, Restaurant, SPA & Wellness, Real Estate, Event Services, Concierge and Car Rental amongst others. In 2016 the organizers have also introduced eight new categories for international brands with worldwide names and recognition – such as Luxury Car Brand, Cosmetics, Timepiece, Jewellery, Yachting, Aircraft, Fashion and Champagne Brand.

The winners are selected by the voting of the honorary committee comprised of luxury industry professionals and opinion leaders both internationally and locally, with a vast wealth of knowledge and experience in the global luxury market.

The best companies and brands will be awarded with the Golden Crown, a bespoke prize symbolising uniqueness in the luxury world. The Golden Crown is a true piece of art, covered with 24-karat gold and handcrafted by renowned jewellery craftsmen Faraone Mennella.

This year the ceremony will be attended by representatives from such countries as UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, Turkey, Lebanon, Nigeria, Oman, Morocco, South Africa, Seychelles, Mauritius and many more.
