The newlywed dressed her best as she was bestowed the title of honorary dame in a pretty pastel suit that was both appropriate and chic for the occasion.
Angelina Jolie, 39, looked perfectly polished for her meeting with Queen Elizabeth, 88, on Oct. 10 at Buckingham Palace, where she was bestowed the title Insignia of an Honorary Dame Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of St. Michael and St. George — and she certainly dressed the part!

While she may love turning up the heat on the red carpet in a slew of sexy Versace gowns and leggy looks, she certainly knows how to look conservative and chic — in fact, her Ralph & Russo outfit reminded us of something Kate Middleton would wear! Her powder blue skirt extended below the knee and it matched her belted jacket perfectly. A pussy bow in the same exact shade added a feminine touch to the ensemble in an elegant way. Peep-toe Salvatore Ferragamo pumps pulled the whole look together. I love the way the star wore her hair back in a voluminous updo. Not only was it neat, but it also kept the hair off her shoulders, keeping the focus on the detailing of her ensemble. A smoky eye rounded out her fantastic look.
The momentous occasion was a family affair for the actress as she brought her children and her hubby along — how sweet!
